I’m currently in meet prep for the 2015 IPA Grand Prix Nationals at the Greater Columbus Convention Center on October 24th, in Columbus, Ohio. I will be competing at 132 pounds, raw with knee wraps.

Conditioning work took a backseat this week unfortunately. With my different training schedule and taking all my heaviest lifts in the given span, I opted it was best that I give my body the most rest as possible. I'm not really feeling beat up, but the toll of the lifts and training is beginning to catch up with me. I've been working in some naps into my day, doing some extra foam rolling between clients, and doing some minor PRI breathing to keep my CNS on the happy end of things. Some times you've got to step back and just work on the little things on the off days, besides just breathing a little heavy. I'll be back to my standard work the following week, but just wanted to give all my energy and recovery to actual rest on my rest days. Mission accomplished.
