I'm currently in a off season style of training, trying to bring up weak points and improve body composition for the duration of the summer. At the end of summer I will reevaluate where I stand, and decide whether I would like to compete in the late fall, or wait until the XPC Finals in March of 2016.

It was a deload week, so conditioning wasn't nearly as much as normal, but I still got quite a bit of walking in. Over the course of meet prep, I will keep walking, but I will play it by ear. If I feel it starts to hinder my lifts, I'll take the day off and just foam roll, stretch, contrast shower, etc. But I will say that I think all this has really helped. I felt really good this week. Prep time!

Monday, August 10th, 2015 37 minute walk on treadmill; 1.5% incline @ 3.4 mph

Wednesday, August 12th, 2015 None for the day. On Tuesday I designed the new layout of the rec center gym, and we moved everything that day. I was beat from just moving thousands of pounds of weights, racks, benches, and machines. I opted to just take the day off, and got in a solid hour nap.

Friday, August 14th, 2015 I visited Purdue, and did about 40 minutes of walking on campus while waiting for some of the Purdue Barbell lifters to get to the rec. It wasn't any "planned" work, but it worked out nice.
