Saturday at 4 am, Mark and I woke up and headed to the airport to fly out to Steve Goggins gym in GA. We got to Steve's place at around 1, got some food in, and got ready to train!

I'm really glad I took the trip down, I knew I needed a few technical fixes so I can actually get stronger in my program. The big takeaway on my bench is that I need to lock my elbows harder during the lift off, and I need to progressively widen my grip out. There were more things to fix but those were the big ones.

Steve wouldn't let me know how much weight I had on the bar, so all I know is that we finished off with 209, which is a pretty big PR for me! The moment I finished that press was one of my happiest moments as a lifter. I'm excited about the progress I have made in the past few months and I am even more excited about the progress that is still to come. Surround yourself with great people and success will come.
