We are welding band peg attachments on the deadlift platform this week. I wanted to pull vs some heavy band tension, so I used this old Just Jump platform that I found in the back. I did this same setup on the same type platform at the Elitefts S4 Compound a couple years back with Ted Toalston. I believe we both worked up to 405 that day. The only reason I got it was because Dave set up a folding chair right in front of the platform..... no pressure! I remember that 405 pull Ted ripped all his callouses off.

I warmed up for 10-15 minutes with some reverse hypers, standing cable abs, and light straight leg deadlifts.

Deadlift vs quadded mini bands on the Just Jump Platform. 155x1 - At this point I knew everything would have to be pulled as fast as possible, because this lockout was already heavy. 205x1 245x1 295x1 335x1 385x1 435x1

The video doesn't make it look too bad, but I promise it was pretty tough for me. My best raw deadlift is 755lbs and it felt like every bit of that at the top. I like using a lot of band tensions, because if you aren't tight everywhere in your set up, you find out really fast. Also, it forces you to pull fast, otherwise you'll never be able to grind through that much band tension.

Accessory work: Reverse hyper (light) 4x15 Pullups 4x10 Standing Cable Abs 4x15
