So many people comment on my abs and my torso when I train shirtless and get leaner. But we all need to realize that if you are properly bracing you will develop this musculature no matter your level of bodyfat. If you feel as though you are struggling, you may need to reassess how you approach breathing and bracing, and consider working on it in your time away from competitions. It will make you that much stronger as you get more and more specific.
