I competed in the XPC Meet at the Arnold in March, shortly after that I got a new job which took a lot of time away from training, then I had a bulging disk (primarily as a result of not training).
I went to a gym about half hour or so from mine that was having a "Deadlift Party", free and open to the public. My training partner and I decided to go. I thought I did terrible and apparently wasn't a good deadlifter anymore, but I actually did pretty well. I was pretty focused on just pulling and trying to block everyone else out I wasn't really paying that much attention to the weights and I thought my last pull was 635 - I was upset with how heavy it felt- it turns out I'm dumb and it was 725.

I was pretty disappointed at first, then when I realized how much it was I was pretty happy.
