I recently lifted in the 2019 USPA National Championships where I totaled 1767 in wraps at 198 via a 655 squat, 451 bench and 661 deadlift. I'm looking to compete in December to wrap up the year.

I was traveling for work and wasn't quite sure if I would have time to train. My original plan was to just do some accessory work but had the caveat that if the conditions were right I would do my normal benching while traveling. I needed a decent gym to do it at, good sleep, hydration and a decent day of eating to feel OK about doing that. Monday was an absolute no on that front. Tuesday though was good and I found a good gym only about a mile from my hotel. With meetings ending early, I took advantage of it.

Bench - 1 Board Press: Everything felt pretty good! No pain or tightness. Range of motion was fine. I pressed 335 for a few triples, nothing real heavy. My thought here was that I haven't really pressed in almost a month. I needed to handle a little bit of weight to prepare myself to start ramping up. 70% felt about right to get myself ready and enough weight to know that I am healthy and ready to go. Mission accomplished there.

Close Grip Bench - 2 board: 275 x 4 x 8

Incline Dumbbell - 70 x 2 x 20

Rope Pressdown - 5 x 12

Banded Hammer Curl - 5 x 20
