I went to see my surgeon yesterday for my 6 week check-up and he gave me clearance to return to the gym, but to take it slow and to come back and see him should there be a problem. On the outside I was calm, but on the inside I was like a kid that was just given his favorite piece of candy. Meredith wasn't too happy and was sure to tell me that she still wants me to stop powerlifting. She's very concerned for my well being.

I knew my grip was going to be an issue and it was obvious today. The 80# db kept trying to roll out of my hand and the pull down bar ended up on my finger tips on nearly every set. I've got a lot of work to do there and hope I can fix it.

It's good to be back.
