More fun elements I encountered in my travels to the Meet Venue...
From Brasilia (after the gate change fiasco), I was finally on my way to the last leg of the journey (no more connections after this one). But not without one last hurrah! So as we are walking into the tarmac-- I was greeted by not the plane I anticipated, but steps. Steps leading outside, and onto a bus w/no AC-- and packed full of passengers. We stood there on the bus for about 20 minutes or so, and eventually were on our way to (what I hoped would be) the plane to take us to our final destination.
After a 15minute bus ride, I finally see a plane with the Airlines name on it-- and when we came to a stop we began to unload out of the bus and walk towards the plane w/carryons in hand. The plane looked smaller than what I was used to, but sturdy enough. As I climbed into the plane I though "if I can make it in one piece, and all my luggage makes it there as well-- this will have been a successful trip in my books".
