So training called for a heavy squat asking to hit four rep's. I was excited as there were no band's involved and I would be able to see how well the accommodative resistance has helped my straight weight movement's. Working up everything felt good minus my hip's, they were being A-Holes and not warming up very well. I WAS getting good depth but it just did not feel like I was "on" and ready for heavier weight. My top set was to be 585x4, I saw my training partner take his set (545) and I was going to take that before moving on to my final set. I was drawn away from training to close a sale on personal training and when I came back I did not think twice to check the weight on the bar. I got slightly amp'ed up (knowing I would need to get really hype on my last set) after standing up with the bar all i could think was, "F this is heavy I must have taken to long of a break!!!" I took my second breath through my mouth and went for it. My depth was crappy and I felt my hip's fighting me, everything on my body was fighting me. I finally racked the weight and was so upset, I let out a sigh, dropped my belt slumped on a bench and said, "I won't hit my top set today". My scooter looked at me and said, "what the hell do you mean, that was your set!" I looked at him confused and said, "what?!". He said, "yeah you said you were ending with 585 right? that is what was on the bar". All i did was looked at him and said, "you made me take a 75lb jump on my top end?! you are an asshole and trying to kill me".
