I’m currently in meet prep for the 2016 XPC Finals at the Arnold Sports Festival on March 5th, in Columbus, Ohio. I will be competing at 132 pounds, raw with knee wraps.

Considering my training on Tuesday didn't go quite as well as I had planned, I still got in my extra lower body session, but I pushed the weights I used a bit more than normal. Usually for these days, I don't focus on weight moved, but rather time under tension and quality of movement and contractions (so yes, more bodybuilder like). The idea is always to get a pump and improve blood flow to help recovery and provide a little bit of stimulus for growth. Not to destroy myself. I decided that I would just still around after work at the rec and use some of the equipment there and really get a better time under tension workout.

Items Used in this Training Session

A1) Single Leg RDL 5x15 per leg

B1) Single Leg Hack Squat 3x15 facing forward per leg 3x15 facing backward per leg

C1) Cable Pull Throughs 3x30

D1) Single Leg Leg Extension 4x20 per leg
