Monday was a max effort bench day, and the exercise was a raw bench press with the buffalo bar. This is a cool movement that builds strength off the chest because you're bringing the bar about an inch lower than with a straight bar.

Warmed with an empty bar and went:

100 x 5

140 x 5

190 x 1

230 x 1

280 x 1

320 x 1

340 x 1

The 340 is about what I'm estimating my raw bench to be, so hitting that weight with the inch camber is pretty good. Put on the slingshot and did a couple more.

380 x 1

410 x 1

460 x 1

After the benching, I did 5 sets of 5 pull-ups with the v-grip. My pull-up game has been pretty pathetic because I didn't do many of them when I was heavier. So I'm bringing them back for a while until they're not quite so embarrassing.

Did 4 sets of 12 on the dip machine, 4 sets of 15 bumble shoulder raises, then a few sets of dumbbell biceps curls.
