Block 12, Wave 1 - Snatch @ ISCF

Weight for Distance

My plan was to try this out today for the first time, but it turned out that I forgot the chain that runs between the handle and the weight so I made a last minute change to weight over bar without the bar to work on my dick-on-forearm technique.

Weight Over Bar

7x1ea x 28 - My right shoulder felt like it was not able to move through my normal full ROM, so this whole thing was a pooch screw.

Snatch

complex x 45

3x95

2x125

1x145

5x2x165

Lots of notes to self here. What I can type includes needing more back tightness, needing to drop under faster, stop bending my arms early, and half of my second reps were total shite. Basically, I was all over the place and I am continuing to struggle to get through my training even with lowering my planned percentages or volume.

Hang Power Cleans + Push Press (on last rep)

5x135 + 1

3x165 + 1

3x185 + 1

3x195 + 1

3x205 + 1

I was making loud animal sex noises on all of this including the warmups. I'm pretty sure that was the only thing that got me through this.

Axle Shrugs/Paused Back Extensions

20x200/15xBW

2x{20x250/15x45}
