Pin presses are very beneficial if your start is slow. I have bad reaction time when I hear "UP". Even as a kid in sports my first reaction off the sprint line was back then forward. Pin presses are also easily done by yourself , which is how my training has been for about 2 months. But my schedule is not very predictable therefore I most often do train solo. " If you want things done right, do them yourself."

  • Not a true max of course but the effort moving the weight correctly is what I'm after for the next month then hopefully I can get back to singles.
Assistance work:
  1. Incline DB press 50x5x10
  2. Harrell shoulder press 65x3x15
  3. KB bent over row 16kgx3x15
  4. 20 pull UPS- 11/4/5
  5. 50 continuous cable triceps pushdowns
  6. 50 continuous barbell bicep curls

Pushing my assistance training hard, every time! It is how you correct weakness and imbalances. No whipping out because your tired or hot or hungry, which I'm always hungry during training.
