Today was my first day back in the gym, well for me anyway. It's so weird how this all works. I feel like the more this (powerlifting) takes from, the more I give of myself. My whole life I've dealt with addiction, and not just substance abuse. I have a strong addictive personality. If I like something - I go all in, I've never been one for moderation. Granted most the time it leaves me like a hamster in a wheel, running fast as fuck and going nowhere.

Consumed by being able to burn everything around me down for the sake of "achievement" is a gift and a curse-if I had a magic wand and could change my ways, I'd probably break it in half grab my bag and go train.

Anywho, Training

I just did a lot of blood work - basically, bodybuilding workout.

Mostly back work, some arms and hardly touched anything lower.

I'm feeling good; this whole prep and competition and recovery were just weird and new, another learning experience.
