I am currently in an "off-season" phase focused on putting on some serious bodyweight while still getting stronger. I'm also raising an awesome infant boy, while still working, training and living life. My next competition will be the USS National Championship in late June where I'll be competing in the 220# class.

I had a pretty solid lower body day here. I had planned to hit some more volume after my main barbell back squat work with the SSB bar, but I decided against it after listening to my body. The last two times that I haven’t listened on squat day has resulted in a partial hamstring tear (December) and a quad injury (July). So I decided to actually listen this time. While my squat isn't great I'm happy it's moving in the right direction.
