Block 3, Week 3, Day 3 - Events @ the Unit

Wow. I can't even remember last time I had a training day this terrible feeling. The only redeeming factor of today was that I had a wedding to go to in the afternoon so I had a firm time I needed to stop sucking and leave to go get ready. I'm fairly certain it's because of not being recovered from deadlifting on Thursday. I haven't had a CNS deficit like that in forever though. Even did my RPR in my warmups and everything still felt like total crap.

Log C&J (clean each rep)

complex x 85

complex x 135

complex x 175

2x225 ---------

4x245 - Felt like a million and 1 pounds.

5x250 - This set felt marginally better, only a million pounds. Also I might have done 6 reps. Not sure because I was focused on trying to do better than the embarrassment of my first set. Either way, just terrible.

Yoke

2x120'x250

120'x450 -------------

120'x650 - Pretty sure this was the worst that yoke has felt since I first started doing it.

2x120'x540

Thankfully this was all I had time for today. The yoke runs would have sucked regardless since the distance was so long, but they sucked and I sucked today. Still glad I trained though and still had fun at least on some level, though the misery would have been much better if I had been able to share it with a solid training partner.
