Block 11, Wave 3 - SQ

My squat has always been pretty terrible and alternates back and forth with bench for what I suck at most. Today though, I squatted the most I've done in a loooooong time. It's still a poop sandwich, but at least it's not a soggy one. My volume of school work has been steadily increasing heading toward spring semester finals in a few weeks, so the fact that I'm making progress in training rather than just spinning my wheels or worse, regressing, is outstanding. I attribute it to the reintroduction of speed work with accommodating resistance back into my training and the attitudinal adjustment that I made on myself while I was out on my clinical affiliation during winter semester. In a nutshell, I had allowed circumstances and people to drag me down to their level with negativity and general lack of scrote, and since realizing this I have since resolved to return to my former state of the pursuit of excellence in all that I do.

3E Jumps

5xBW to 6"

3x5xBW to 12"

This was my goal for unweighted triple extension jumps so I'll be adding weight next week and starting back at a lower height.

Squats

10x55

5x145

5x235

3x285

1x325

5x355

3x400

3x445

Banded Axle DL (doubled monster mini bands)

6x70 + bands

4x160 + bands

2x2x220 + bands

3x2x240 + bands

2x250 + bands

Forward Band Goblet Marches/SS Yoke Bar Calf Raises

2x{60" x 60/20x245}

I used an average band choked to my rack and attached it to a dip belt for the marches and they lit up my hip and glutes like the 4th of July.
