Assistance Deload

Today was a mostly good end to a deload that was actually productive instead of just stupid. I did have to cut it a little bit short when the auto glass place called me back telling me my truck was ready (windshield replaced and driver's side door window fixed) and that I had about 20 minutes to come pick it up before they closed. This kind of pissed me off, but they did pretty good work for a reasonable cost which is light years ahead of the last company I had replace my windshield who fucked it up twice and charged me more. As of now I have programmed all of the exercises I had projected in some form or fashion into my next 14 weeks of training with the possible exception of one which I need to get another piece of equipment to accurately test out.

Power Snatch

6x45

4x75

6x2x95

2x115

2x135

Wow, I was all over the place on most of these until the end.

Strict Crazy DB Press

3x15ea x 20

Arm Over Arm

2x50' - just playing around with wrapping the rope around the rack

Incline DB Cuban Press/Band Face Pulls (thanks Julia!)

2x{10x5/20x light band}

Julia Ladewski posted these yesterday and they looked gnarly so I figured I'd give it a go and it was the right decision. I was weak as a kitten on the Cubans and then the band face pulls just lit up my shoulders even more like a fireworks finale on the 4th of July.

I was feeling so good today I was even going to throw in some conditioning at the end, but that's when the auto glass people called and I had to cut it short to go get my truck.
