One of my hobbies is training at new, cool gyms. My best friend since we were kids, Nick had the day off, so we decided to go to Upgraded Industries in Mentor. They have an Elitefts monolift, and it was squat day, so I was in. The gym was pretty sweet and tucked back in an industrial park. Only con- there wasn't a squat bar and my last couple sets I could feel the plates bouncing a little bit.

Squat: bar x 5 135x5 225x4 315x3 365x2 405x1 455x1 - maverick wraps on for this and all of the following sets 495x1 545x1 585x1 - Moved really well and despite the lack of squat bar and the plates bouncing, it moved fast and I felt strong.

This is what I've worked up to the past couple weeks. I've just been focusing on trying to move it faster and better every week.

Accessory work: 5x20 reverse hyper 3x20 seated chest supported rows.

I would definitely go back to that gym. It was a cool set up, good energy, even in the middle of the day when we went.
