I had a couple of long time training partners and friends come up from Cincinnati to Cleveland this weekend to train and hang out. One of my closest friends, Adam, who is coming off of some health issues and just getting back in to training, squatted on the elitefts Yoke SSB. His son, Cooper, who squatted 735 in briefs at 17, and currently plays college football at Bluffton U, and I squatted a few singles on a straight bar.

Warmup: bar x 5 145x5 235x3 325x3 375x2 415x1 465x1 505x1 555x1

Cooper took 1 more at 600, I shut it down because I have been having some low back issues the past week.

Accessory work: 235+elitefts average bands doubled over to a box below parallel 5x3

After that I did more catching up and hanging out than I did training. It was great to train with these guys again. Followed by dinner and some more catching up and hanging out around the fire.

Damn.. I guess this is what happens when you squat with your old trainer!
