Headed north to London to train at the Elitefts S4 Compound today. I squatted with Steve Diel and JD today with Ted Toalston and Dave helping and coaching us. My last post I mentioned that I was having some back issues so I got a deep tissue massage and spent some extra time doing mobility work, well, I guess I should have done it sooner because today was the first day I felt pretty good squatting.

Safety squat bar (no box)

bar x10 135x5 225x5 315x3 365x3 405x2 455x2 495x1 545x1

I used a light pair of knee wraps on the last two singles but felt great and I was surprised neither of them were more difficult. especially because I hate squatting with the SSB. But, it was nice to give my elbow some rest from the biceps tendonitis that has been nagging me.

Accessory: 3x15 reverse hyper. -I used light weight and really let it swing to pull though at the bottom to decompress my spine as opposed to using it as a strength building exercise.

2x10 glute ham raise 1x10 standing abs.

I should have done more but at this point I was happy I hit that 545 squat and got caught up talking business and shaved heads with Dave. It's an easy thing to do.... I've spent the last 10 or so years reading everything hes wrote and watching his videos on youtube, so when the opportunity comes up I typically get caught up in conversation with him pretty easily.
