Events @ BSG

Today I trained events with Graham, whom I competed with in Richmond back in November and who is also in town short term for school. I'm still getting my lungs kicked in by this stupid cough/head cold, but a good time was had by all. I opted not to do any pressing since my wrists were still feeling less than stellar from my stupid half assed clean on Thursday.

Yoke

100' x 450

100' x 540

50' x 630

50' x 680

2x50' x 720

Today I was just slow and even though the second run was faster by about a second, both were well over 10 seconds so I didn't go up any more.

Hussafel Carry (50' turns)

200' x 240

2x~160' x 300

I had planned not to go to failure, but both runs with 300 I ended up dropping at exactly the same place because i was losing the grip with my left hand.

Atlas Stones

3x245 to 48"

2x{245 to 48", 290 to 48", 325 to 44"}

I tried to do 350 as the 4th stone in the series both times, but it was so dusty I just slipped right off despite several attempts to reposition it.

Thanks to Graham for kicking my butt on yoke and letting me use his tacky for stones since I had left mine at home. Solid training day even in spite of this damn cough, thanks to a good training partner.
