Week of the Bar Exam, my coach and I took it as an impromptu deload. Luckily it shouldn't interfere with my peaking cycle for the Newport Open. When life happens, you just have to roll with the punches.

 

Training this week for me was mostly about moving, greasing the grooves, keeping my body feeling good, and finding a way to train while in the home stretch for the bar exam.

 

Monday [Upper Body]

Bench 3x3

303 Tempo Bench 3x6

OHP 4x 10

[Bar Exam all day Wednesday and Thursday-- and unfortunately the bar they were talking about was not a barbell]

Saturday (also moving out & into a new apartment)

High Bar Squat x10 @6, x10 @7, x10 @8 plus 1 down set (repeat)

Conv DL x8 @6, x8 @7, x8 @8 plus 1 down set (repeat)

Bus Drivers x10 @6, x10 @7, x10 @8 plus 1 down set (repeat)

Sunday (moving in/out)

Vertical Pull of your choice x10 @6, x10 @7, x10 @8 plus 1 down set (repeat) Close Grip Bench x6 @6, x6 @7, x6 @8 plus 1 down set (repeat) Row of your choice x10 @6, x10 @7, x10 @8 plus 1 down set (repeat)
