I had an early morning PT session today and we added a couple new things. We did some therma band tricep extensions and curls. I'm also up to the purple 5 pound dumbbells for my shoulder raises and we added a new wall stretch too. I'm sure it is all helping my recovery process but the part that provides an immediate impact is the Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) treatment my therapist does on my incision scar and tricep at the beginning of each session. It provides instant relief to some of the tightness and it is also preventing the incision scar from attaching to the tissue under the skin which would reduce mobility. I think I may look for this type of treatment for general overall recovery after I'm back to training.
