Since being in Jail or even acting or lying about jail is the cool thing to do these days, I decided to bring back an old Jailhouse routine.

The deck of cards pushup routine

This is best with a partner or can be done alone.

Take a deck of cards and assign the reps per card.

2=2

3=3

4=4

Jack, queen, king = 10 (these can be modified 10, 15, 20, etc.)

Ace= 15

Set the deck on a table or a bush and have one person flip a card if you flip a six you do six pushups.

The next person does the same if they flip a king they do 10

and so on and so forth.

Deck set up the way I described above is about 400 pushups and is 26 sets each and takes approximately 20/25 minutes depending on how fast each person pushes.

This day, in particular, I ended up doing 246 push ups in 26 sets.

This is a nasty pump in the shoulders chest triceps and upper back.

Accessories

We did some kettlebell cleans for a cluster

some banded triceps and side raises to finish we did 5-minute cluster of band pull parts
