I deadlifted with Seth today since I'm trying to alternate squat and deadlifts every Sunday rather than just squat and then try to pull sometime during the week and just wreck myself. I expected a little more out of myself today, but got angry early on when the bar wasn't moving like I wanted it to even though I know it's been a few weeks since I actually tried pulling heavy. I used to enjoy dealifting, but now I just get pissed thinking about it. One good thing is that the SI a weeks worth of squating, gm's and now deadlifting and I'm not limping around the house in pain. However, i did something to my left AC joint on the last pull and have been icing it all night. I wasn't able to sleep because of the pain even after taking vicodin and is why I'm writing my logs now at 1 in the morning. One step forward, two steps back...

I also can't begin to tell you how furious it makes me when I watch my training partners like Seth, Buddy and Danny pull 700 off the floor with ease and speed while I struggle to pull 605. It eats at me to no end.
