This is my raw benching week. I train raw every other week on the bench so i can maintain some resemblance of raw bench strength.

I have to be easy when training raw on the bench so I have decided to train all work sets in our biggest Sling Shot we have to help with my shoulders and use a 2board on all work sets too. I know but you have to do what you have to do when your old and broken....

The volume I did today kicked my ass and was about too much but I battled through and got my work in. Long gone are the days of benching 500 pounds raw at will like I did for 20 years.

And yes I have been able to bench 500 or more for longer than most of you youngins reading this has been alive....
