Presently preparing to bench raw in the 242 class at a meet on 3/29

Friday - Bench Mulligan lumbar self snag 10x10 *throughout the day Psoas strengthen/stretch, hanging off bench with 2 chains 2x10 Blast strap circuit

Bench: Comp grip w/legs up 290/335/375x5 FSL: Speed/CAT work w/legs up 290 3x5 Assistance Close grip w/shoulder saver 365 3x10 Inverted rows bw x30x20

My back felt much better this week. Not enough to put my legs down, I'm holding myself to the month off. However, it felt good enough where it did not inhibit my pressing all that much. Last week every rep was in pain. This week, I could just feel it was a little off.

I decided to get some good pre training carbs today. I think that also helped. I usually only get around 60-100 during the day and pre-training. This week I took in a little over 200 pre and intra-training. I also got another 200 post training. That's like carb loading for me lately.

Assistance is going really well also. Last week it took me 4 sets to hit 30 reps on the close grip shoulder saver. This week was only three. Same goes for the inverted rows. I think this is the first time I got all 50 reps in two sets.

The real good news is that my beard is coming in pretty nicely. I mean come on people, priorities.
