Coming off of a 2nd Place Finish at USS Nationals in June, I'm now in an off-season hypertrophy phase for the next 12 weeks. My programming is based off of John Meadows Mountain Dog Training with a slight strength emphasis.

Notes:

- This session felt good. It felt good to deadlift again since I haven't pulled from the floor since May 4th. Leading into Nationals I was using 4-inch block pulls to simulate the wagon wheel deadlift we had at Nationals.

-This was the second time I've back squatted in a year. I'm still working on finding what feels best again. Front squats carry over to strongman so well for me that they've made up the bulk of my squatting the past year.
