3.5 weeks ago I was able to get 605 for 1.5 reps on the cambered bar and 605 for 1.5 reps off the 2.5" deficit for deadlift. I made the statement, "my goal is to hit both of those for the prescribed reps at the end of this mesocycle. Well today was the last day for max effort in this cycle before we start doing all wrapped competition lifts and I was just shy of my goal. I ended the ME cambered bar cycle with a 600 for two and 615 deadlift off a 2.5" deficit, I am happy to accomplish both lifts. Was not pleased with second squat rep as I got bent over but, was overly content with killing my second rep on deadlift after getting out of position between reps and re-setting and ripping the weight up. Lots of good and bad lifts throughout this cycle, if I keep my composure the meet will go well.
