Today:

Plan was to wake up at 7:30am to start the day. Casey was up already and showering. Good, that means 10 more minutes. It was one of those days when Casey was on fire, so he abruptly turned on the lights and blinded me with his energy.

Made breakfast and headed to the gym.

Goggins had me squat and light bench. This week is my first week back and as expected, I felt weak and all over the place. Groove was off and everything felt heavy. Stuck to plan but I'll have to express to Goggins that I'm just not ready to hit his percentage numbers and ease into training. Bench did feel great, as Wednesday's bench my grip was too wide.

After training we headed to Lululemon. I LOVE when Casey asks me to dress him. Had him try on a few outfits. He looked sharp.

Headed back home. We're hosting Mother's day dinner. I cleaned the house and made salad. Papi was holding it down in the kitchen. All in all, it was a great day.

P.S.

Happy Mother's Day

Stay tuned for a new episode on Coupled in Strength- how we were raised and what values we were taught (inspired by today), and overthinking in relationships. I didn't write much because it'll all be in there but yes, I was raised by my grandmothers. Today is for them.
