Today I tried the whole using-the-ss-yoke-bar-to-front-squat thing. For me, it has it's ups and downs (no pun intended). I like it overall, but the risk of getting folded backwards if the bar shifts back or of ripping my biceps off the bone if it falls forward both seemed to be pretty realistic possible outcomes since my technique in regard to the balance was kind of shaky.

SS Yoke Bar Front Squats

12x65

8x155

3x205

3x245

3x285

3x315

3x3x285

Lateral Stepdowns/Lateral Lunges

3x{15ea x BW/10ea x BW}

I started out using the SS Yoke Bar for the stepdowns, but I couldn't stop myself from twisting my hips a lot so I dropped down to BW instead. I blame it on massive anterior tightness from the huge increase in studying this semester.
