My schedule is currently the worst and most unreliable it has ever been, so I ended up having to push my second day of training back to Friday evening after I got home from work. Boo fucking hoo. Here's what I did.
Chain Deficit Axle DL (1.5" deficit, 3 sets chains)
15x70 - No chains
10x70 - Add chains
6x160
4x250
2x300
6x2x345 - Rest 30 sec
I kept the rest period shorter than usual for this week of dynamic work since I knew going in I was not going to work up.
Band SS Yoke Bar Box Squats (avg bands)
10x65 - Add bands
6x155
4x205
2x245
2x2x305 - Slowest "speed" work ever
4x2x255
My planed weight for my work sets of band squats was barely moving today even with longer rest periods, so I dropped down to something that I was able to move fast enough with to at least lie to myself that I was doing speed work.
That was all my brain could get my body to do today.
