This is a great movement for people with banged up shoulders. 1. Hands are in a good angle to reduce stress on anterior shoulder components 2. Submaximal weights while still building strength 3. Improving mobility and ROM with the most efficient means possible- building strength through that ROM 4. Slow eccentric builds and helps damaged tissue realign 5. Building speed strength 6. Accommodating resistance allows for a weight deload in the joint and surrounding tissues most vulnerable position 7. You will feel pretty damn jacked after 5x5 on this movement!
