Inverted rows (or sometimes called incline pullups) are one of my favorite exercises for my clients of all levels. They are versatile and can be easily progressed and regressed. Great option for those that are unable to perform full pull-ups. The reason I love them so much is it gets the person used to pulling, lifting and managing their own body weight. In this video, I show a few progressions on how to make inverted rows harder. Remember, the higher the bar setting, the easier it is because you are lifting less of your total body weight. As I move the bar lower, the exercise becomes more difficult. Elevating your feet, as seen at the end, it the most difficult version because your body is completely horizontal. Add a weight vest or have a partner add a plate to your midsection for even more of a challenge.
