As honest as I can be, I'm nervous. The weights that I'm now planning on using in training have either gotten me injured before or have great potential to get me hurt again. With every working set I have some type of fear and I'm not afraid to admit that. People have always asked me to help them decide which contests that they should compete in and my advice is almost always the same: Choose the one that scares you the most! And that is how I went into Sunday's Training...a little scared! Everything had to be perfect or I'd be injured. Farmers: During warm ups my arm felt "OK" at best. Nothing felt heavy but my left rear delt felt like it was pulling. Not in pain, but not in a pleasurable way either. Watching the video I can see that as I stand up I retract my rear delts to keep the weight on my spine instead of letting the weight carry me down the course 268's x 50 ft in 5.26 sec PR Clint Dec 5 356 Atlas Stones getting more nervous 190 lbs to 66 inches 230 to 64 265 to 64 285 to 58 inches 310 to 58 345 to 58...HUGE PR!
