Relentless Detroit proved to be a decent meet, but in all reality, it was a tune-up meet for Relentless Minnesota. I just spent the last 7-8 weeks really pushing some of my raw work on all 3 lifts. Strategically working on some weak points, both muscularly and technically. Getting back in my gear mid-January and will be placing that in according to the calendar to have enough skill work in the gear before the meet. My plan is to compete at Relentless Minnesota March 28th in the 123# weight class. Questions about my training, diet, coaching, clients, etc... I will always answer! Just send a question in! Took a down week on speed bench after using bands the last 3 weeks. And I used the swiss bar. Wanted to actually get away from horizontal pressing, so I just did 6 sets and did more shoulder work. Swiss Bar speed bench 6x3 @ 135 Cage Press 5x5 @ 65 Rolling DB Extensions - 8x10 superset with Dips - 4x10 Pullup Muscle Round - I did only slightly better at these this week than last. But that's ok... baby steps 6x4 with 10 seconds rest My final set last week, I got 2, plus 2 quarter reps. This week on my final round, I got 3, plus 1 quarter/failure rep. So yay! Single Arm side raise - 3x12 superset with Double Impact Shrugs - 4x10 Micro mini band side partials 4x35
Wednesday- Deload speed bench
