Typically post meet I take 1-2 weeks off for a mental and physical break from training and competitive mode. Then, for fun and for the pump, I'll do bodybuilding for 3-5 weeks. This all depends what my next goal(s) will be, but I don't have any competition planned yet so I am enjoying the different training style and variation. I reached out to Julia regarding several things, one of them being training, and she was gracious enough to send me a training template laid out for me for the next 5 weeks.

It has been such a relief just getting to the gym, reading through what I need to do and just doing it. In the past, I was taught to take 30 seconds to a minute of rest between reps and sets. Super-sets meant no rest. In and out and it requires very little thinking. I will admit, I feel SUPER out of shape haha. Huge thanks to Julia for being there for me.

Leg curls – 4x10, last set add 15-20 partials Squats – 4x10, regular/strongest stance Narrow stance leg press – 3x12. Leg extensions – 3x8 with a 3 second eccentric, then kick up hard DB Stiff legged deads – 4x10 superset with Pulsed lunges – 4x15 each leg
