Seth and I took the trip out to Orlando Barbell today and we were glad we did. There was a special energy at the gym - everyone was there because they loved to lift, many of them weren't even competitors, but took the time to say hi, ask for help, and offer help through the training session. There is something special about training in a small space.
This was my third time benching with chains and it felt much more manageable this time. Brian had me warm up to 165 straight weight, then add chain and go to a one-board.
Bench Barx10 95x8 135x8 165x5 175x5 - add 40lbs chain 175x5 - add 80lbs chain
These felt awesome. Heavy at the top, but had no issues pushing through the transition.
Floor Press I felt really in the groove with these today, I could really feel my lats working hard to 'catch' the weight. Barx10 135x8 165x8 175x7 185x7
High rep shoulder press These are evil. By the last set I could only get 12. 20x15 30x2x15
JM Press Again, Evil. I suck at these, definitely something I need to work on building up. 65x3x10
