I’m currently in meet prep for the 2015 IPA Grand Prix Nationals at the Greater Columbus Convention Center on October 24th, in Columbus, Ohio. I will be competing at 132 pounds, raw with knee wraps.

I'm mixing things up a bit in terms of my conditioning. I'm slowly moving towards a shorter duration and a bit more higher average heart rate. I'm trying to get in just as much work but with less time. This is to optimize my recovery a bit as the meet gets closer. Once I'm a few weeks out, I'll probably do the bare minimum to keep my conditioning on point and to allow for maximum recovery. But for now, things are still feeling good and moving in the right direction.

Monday, September 7th, 2015 2.2 mile walk outside, in about 40 minutes

I opted to give my hands a little bit of a break before Thursday, and I will do the same over the course of the deload next week.
