Every three-four weeks I deadlift with chains following the M2 method. The last time this variation came up, I used EZ-loaders and a carabiner to load my chain, and didn't notice until I reviewed the video later on that I was barely getting anything out of the chain. Today I wrapped the chain around the bar and clipped the ends together with the carabiner, and it was the perfect amount of chain. Watch the video if you're curious.
