Today I drove up to the elitefts compound to meet up with Bruce Mason and Todd Brock to do some squatting. I'm 13 weeks out from the Lexen Fall Classic, and this past week I drew up my max effort and dynamic effort cycles leading up to the meet, and then send it to Todd for his advice. Todd is a great coach and really smart lifter, and he helped me with preparation for my last meet in May. He made some good adjustments to what I put together and we discussed how to address some of my weaknesses from last meet, and then the three of us did our speed squat workout followed by hip belt squats with the Pit Shark. I really like the training setup we came up with for this meet, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it all turns out on the platform..

(Since we spent a lot of time discussing training today, we kept the training session pretty short. Next week the volume of exercises will bump back up)
