2016 has been a productive strongman season returning back to the sport. In June I took third place in the Open SHWW with United States Strongman. In September I won the HWW America's Strongest Master with Strongman Corporation. I would like to continue to make improvements and push my performance considerably for next year.

As of right now, I have no competition plans until next year. I am not sure what they will be but am using this down time to address some weaknesses, particularly 12" log and circus DB. Grip training will return as well.

From 10/4/2016

Back to the early morning training/cleaning sessions at the gym.

12" Log

I spent time just playing with technique. Right off the top, my clean is terrible mostly due to the knee "tweak" I get on this event. Aside from that, I worked light weights to ensure all things are TIGHT and firing as they should.

2.5 COC Gripper

Knocked out two closes with the 2.5. Every indication is when I am picking it up, I can close it no problem. So I am not too sure why I won't move forward with certification. Oh, I know....I want to be 1000% sure this time my attempt is successful.

Caught up on a lot of cleaning at the gym and had to jet out to work.
