Another good training session with the crew. Everyone hit the numbers they wanted and I even finally convinced John, the old guy in the group to finally start using leg drive, and hoorah, he did! During my first set with 210, I had a few things go wrong that were out of my control. The first of which was when my spotter accidentally spat a big loogie on my cheek. I couldn't help but giggle a little when that happened. Then, flustered, he tried to take the bar from me one rep too early. I don't give up easy, so he had no chance pulling that bar from my hands. I settled the weight again and went for that last rep. Shit happens, and often times it's out of our control, but how you react in those situations is what matters
