After sustaining multiple low back issues the past year, and coming off a terrible showing at the XPC Bench Bash, I'm now I can do what's best for my body. I've recently opened up a new training facility, THIRST, so I'm trying to balance life and training the best I can, with hopes that I can compete in some capacity by the end of 2018.

It's not much, but it's still progress. Right now the weights are still staying light and moving well, with no pain or shifting that I'm able to see (which is good!). I'm really just ready to get up to a plate on each lift and actually feel like I'm training again (somewhat). Accessory work is improving and I'm handling a bit more volume rather consistently. The big thing will be to see how this feels after I start getting some real weight on the bar, as my accessory work might just have to try to do the best I can to maintain that volume/load. But it's too early to tell. All I know is that my hips still feel really good. A good day, that's for sure.
