I'm currently preparing for the 21 deadlift salute at the Arnold Classic. By Dave's suggestion I am going to start using an old safety squat bar with no handles on it. This was the first time I used this bar and I am extremely thankful for the new elitefts safety squat bars.
This bar pitches you forward way more and is 10x harder on your back and 10x harder overall.
Squatted to a box just at parallel 135x5 185x5 225x5 275x3 315x2 365x1 405x1 455x1 495x1 missed
I was pissed I missed that 495 squat. like I said, that bar is 10x harder to squat with. I plan to use that bar again and hit it in two weeks.
