OF SQUATS!!!
The sickness and the weight loss have been a blessing on my knees. Not training for a while paired with the weight loss made my knees feel great. So why not beat them up?? I know right!
Squats at Barnyard Barbell
bar x 5 bar x 5. I had to do extra mobility drills because my left shoulder was so banged up (from nothing) that I couldn't get under the bar and get my left hand on it. 25's x 5. shoulder is better 1 plate x 5 1.5 plates x 5 2 plates x 3 2.5 plates x 3 3 plates x 3. Added my briefs..... that are a little loose we will say 5 plates x 2. Added full suit straps up.... yaaaaaa..... so I hit parallel with this 6 plates x 2 7 plates x 1. I went squirrelly in the hole and my knees shot forward. I scared the crap out of everyone spotting me. Sorry guys! 8 plates x 1. I added Shannon's amazing knee wrapping skills to the game and smashed that!
I called it there. The weight felt ok. My form felt ok. I consider that a win. In 2 weeks I will go for my opener and find out what I will be bringing to the Arnold's in a few weeks! Some of the other highlights of the training day were Shannon getting to cuddle and fall in love with a goat (Not Ed Coan. An actual goat).
