Let me preface this by stating that 99.9% of the time our dogs relax, play, and get along great, but since we’ve had issues in the past we’ve taken measures to try to prevent any further incidents.

This could be the worst thing I've ever done for squats.

Dave Tate
Yes, I still do stupid shit for no other reason then to see if I can do it or not. In this case I failed.

I think this may have some value beyond being a warmup drill. If you do it correctly, you are driving your lower body as hard as you can, you are pushing your belly up to meet the bar and you are driving the hips as hard as you can off the chest. This is all a lot easier to do with your feet on the bench that on the floor and it seems to make all of these things “click” in lifters that are new or struggling. I think it will make it click even more with some weight on the bar.

Four foods for EPIC fat abs

Four foods for EPIC fat abs

Dave Tate
I'm writing this post because one mark of measure we used to use years ago to gauge our potential strength and how we were peaking for a meet was we would measure the size of our head and the size of our bellies. Based upon that, we would know if we were ready for our meet or not. Are you holding yourself back?
