What's up, guys? I'm Bonnie Schroeder, and I'm so excited to introduce you to the CHEST UP PAD! Let me briefly introduce myself and explain why I was excited to create the Chest Up Pad. I'm a powerlifting athlete/coach with an extensive background in athletics that also includes track & field, bodybuilding, and CrossFit. Strength training has been such an integral part of my life for the past decade that I wouldn't be the person I am today without it. The confidence and empowerment that come with strength training are unparalleled, and I love helping people discover their own capabilities. And like all passions, training doesn't come without its occasional moments of frustration. My personal issue was always experiencing some type of sensitivity with chest-supported exercises, and I would end up just avoiding them most of the time because there was really no other solution. In May of 2021, I had a preventative mastectomy and reconstruction, which led to even MORE discomfort during these movements, and I had to abandon those exercises altogether. After a few months of frustration I finally came up with a beautifully simple solution. The Chest Up Pad!

This sleek and supportive wedge straps onto your bench and takes pressure off the chest when doing chest-supported movements. The Chest Up Pad is made of several layers of firm foam, which keeps the chest elevated rather than pressed into the bench. The backside is made of a grippy material to keep it firmly in position. The Chest Up Pad locks into place with stretchy straps that velcro around the back of the bench. It's small enough to fit into your gym bag and is sure to be the newest staple in every gym.
